About Us

The Hrvatski zavod za zaposljavanje (HZZ) is a public institution owned by the Republic of Croatia, established under the Act on Employment Mediation and Unemployment Entitlements, with the task of resolving employment and unemployment related issues in the broadest sense of the terms.

VISION

The Hrvatski zavod za zaposljavanje is a leading participant in the development of the Croatian labour market, especially in bringing together the entire labour supply and demand with the aim of achieving full employment.

MISSION

Effective labour market mediation by developing high quality services in line with the needs of clients; alongside with the development of its own knowledge, skills and abilities; and by promoting partnerships with stakeholders in the labour market.

STRATEGIC GOALS
  1. Design the services of the Hrvatski zavod za zaposljavanje so as to increase the competitiveness of the labour force and to meet the needs of the labour market.
  2. Develop human resources and strengthen administrative capacity of the Hrvatski zavod za zaposljavanje in order to design and provide new services in the labour market.
  3. Assume the leading position of the Hrvatski zavod za zaposljavanje in the labour market by establishing partner relationships and having a greater influence on the adoption and implementation of public policies.

QUALITY MANAGEMENT

The Hrvatski zavod za zaposljavanje is the leading institution in the Croatian labour market, especially in the area of bringing together the entire labour supply and demand with the aim of full employment. This is achieved through effective mediation by developing high-quality services in line with clients' needs; developing its own knowledge, skills and abilities as well as through promoting partnerships with stakeholders in the labour market.

Quality has been maintained in all business areas, in all phases of the business processes, and in all elements of service provision as well as at every workplace. Business processes related to work with employers, the unemployed and other HZZ users must be continuously improved, while at the same time building the institutional capacity – in terms of human, financial and material resources.

High-quality system is the basis for successful, transparent and efficient business operations and development of the Hrvatski zavod za zaposljavanje in the future. It is indeed the foundation and guarantee for achieving satisfaction and occupational safety of all our employees, clients, partners and society as a whole.

High-level quality is achieved by constant supervision, permanent elimination of poor quality, especially through the implementation of preventive measures including life-long training and providing all HZZ employees with up-to-date information; by using modern techniques and technology, modern work organization and management system; by strengthening partnerships for employment as well as its own role in creating a national employment policy.

The responsibility for quality is confirmed through the continuous management and implementation of high quality in every part of the HZZ business operations, by improving the efficiency of services provided, while at the same time reducing the number of customers’ complaints and meeting the requirements of our customers with cost-effective and transparent use of funds.

High quality planning, successful system of quality control, continuous professional training and achievement of the set goals will ensure the satisfaction of all the partners and employees of our company; increase the number of employees and enable overall progress and development.

Quality management of the Hrvatski zavod za zaposljavanje  needs to be understood, applied and maintained at all levels. Every employee of the HZZ is obliged to comply with the adopted Quality Policy and within the framework of their responsibilities and authorities should contribute to its realization and improvement; and continuously build up the reputation and the role of the HZZ in the wider community by establishing good business relations with their clients and external partners.
