| Exits from the register |

According to Article 17 of the Act on Employment Mediation and Unemployment Rights (Official Gazette 80/08, 121/10), the person would no longer be kept in the CES register as an unemployed person in the following cases:
-
If he/she signs a work contract.
-
If he/she has made monthly earnings gained from providing services according to special regulations or monthly earnings, that is, income from other independent activity according to the income tax regulations, the amount of which is higher than the lowest basis used for the calculation of contributions for mandatory insurance defined by special regulations.

If he/she performs a job with no job certificate, work contract, or an official decision based on which he or she performs it.
-
If he/she registers a trading company or other legal entity, that is, acquires more than a 25 % share in a trading company or other legal entity.

If he/she becomes an owner of a registered handicraft, freelance, agriculture or forestry business.
-
If he/she becomes a private agriculture insuree according to the pension regulations.
-
If he/she becomes employed according to special regulations.
-
If he/she meets the requirements for early, old-age pension, that is, if he or she meets the requirements for family pension or disability pension due to general working disability.
-
If he/she has general working disability established.
-
If he/she does voluntary work as defined by labour regulations.
-
If he/she gains the rights to maternity, parental, adoptive or custodial exemption from work defined by special regulation.
-
If he/she becomes a regular pupil or student.
-
If he/she enters military service on a voluntary basis.
-
If he/she is in custody.
-
If he/she enters prison.
-
If he/she reaches the age of 65.

If he/she is included by the CES in a training programme, for the period of its duration.
-
If he/she refuses to participate in a training programme adequate to their assessed psycho-physical abilities, which is organised and financed by the CES and aimed at improving their employability. The same applies to unjustified failure to attend or to complete their training obligations.
-
If he/she fails to report to the Croatian Employment Service over two consecutive months without providing the CES with an acceptable excuse.

If he/she does not meet the requirements of active job search and availability for work, in accordance with Article 11 of this Act.

If he/she cancels their registration.

If he/she rejects a job offer of one’s adequate occupation level and work experience up to the establishment of a professional plan as defined in Article 21 of the Act, and subsequently rejects the offered job from the established professional plan or he or she causes the employer’s refusal to employ them due to their own conduct, i.e. he/she rejects to accept the offered job which matches the assessed psycho-physical competences and if they have been kept in the CES register for a period longer than 12 months.
