FINAL CONFERENCE OF THE PROJECT „LOCAL PARTNERSHIP FOR EMPLOYMENT - PHASE III

On the 4th of July in the premises of the Regent Esplanade Hotel in Zagreb the final conference on the Local Partnership for employment – Phase III was held and by it the Project was closed.
Project was implemented by the Croatian Employment Service.

At the opening of the conference the guests were addressed by the representative of the Delegation of the European union to the Republic of Croatia, Ms. Rima Joujou Deljkić, the Director General of the Croatian Employment Service, Ms. Ankica Paun Jarallah, the representative of the Ministry of Economy, Labour and Entrepreneurship, Ms. Gordana Dragičević, and Team Leader Mr. Joachim Frede.

In the second part of the conference the representatives of the Local Partnerships for Employment from Croatia presented their experiences in the implementation of partnership principle in the development of human potentials in Croatian counties.
From Karlovac County, representing Karlovac LPE, the guests were addressed by Ms. Ana Pozderac, the Head of the CES Regional Office Karlovac. Furthermore, the guests were addressed by Ms. Marija Vučković, Vice Prefect of Dubrovnik- Neretva County. The final representative of local partnerships was Ms. Jadranka Čapalija, Head of the CES regional office Križevci. She emphasized, just like her predecessors did, the importance of decentralisation through local connections.

At the end of the conference the Director General of the Croatian Employment Service, Ms. Ankica Paun Jarallah, concluded that the “partnership” is crucial term for the access to the European Union funds and that this project was of great significance as LPEs in Croatia could become the key initiator of local development.
