EUROPEAN EXPERIENCE IN TOURISM MANAGEMENT
After four weeks in Germany the participants in the project “European Experience in Tourism Management” have presented their impressions and experiences of the way of life and practical work experience in Leipzig.
I feel that the project was successful and that I had the opportunity to see the European way of work and living. I got an insight into the organization of foreign companies and learned a lot. I would especially mention two booking programmes – “Amadeus” (presented during a workshop) and “Merlin” (used during the practical training in Indigoreisen travel agency) which are used also in some Croatian hotels and travel agencies.

This was an excellent experience that I would gladly repeat. I have improved my English and German language skills and made extraordinary friendships. We had the opportunity to see the German way of work and living and all that awaits us when we enter the EU. We have seen that things can be different from what we are used to see in Croatia and that young people have endless opportunities for training, education and work. Some of us got a job opportunity in Germany which gave us new hope and self-esteem. Matea P.
